Once you can recognize me, you can keep an eye out for me and help protect me by contacting the local beach volunteer who may be able to assist you in calling the properly authorities to have them come and get me and help me to safety so I won't get hurt on the busy beaches.

• “Food of the Kemp's Ridley”

In this section we will be discussing the types of food that I eat and also my favorite foods (yes like humans, I have a favorite food). You will also find out why it can be dangerous for me when I am out hunting for food. Gathering food can be a bit of an adventure for me if I am not careful of the lurking dangers. You will also not only learn about what I eat, you will also learn about the eating habit's of the Kemp's Ridley sea turtles as well. As I stated above, my eating habits have proved to be a bit difficult at times because of the dangers it can involve.

• “The Arribada”

Okay, I know you are probably wondering what an arrabada is, so I will go ahead and tell you that “arrabada” means “arrival” in Spanish. An arrabada is a unique nesting phenomenon that is common to the Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle. You will learn more about this as you read on. There is some very interesting information about how the gender of the Kemp's Ridley babies are determined when we are nothing but a little turtle egg. I am sure you will be fascinated with the process.
